Once onboarded, hotels are guided through a structured certification process that includes an assessment against the Bioscore standard, documentation review, an independent third-party audit and, upon successful completion, the issuance of a recognised sustainability certificate. 

Sustainability certification may be more accessible than many hotels expect. Through the Bioscore programme, hotels can begin their certification journey from €430 per property. The package includes the sustainability assessment, access to the Bioscore platform, carbon and water footprint calculations, expert support throughout the process, an independent third-party audit and the issuance of a recognised sustainability certification.  In addition to supporting certification, the platform helps hotels centralise sustainability information, manage documentation, monitor ESG indicators and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
